Good evening, friends! And greetings from the Onguko family. Last time, I couldn’t share news with you due to certain health circumstances, but thank God for your understanding and support!

I’ll share the latest events in Pokot. We had the honor of hosting the IMOSE team at our base in Pokot and serving together for the local community! We also had a wonderful time with children – around 500 kids could experience “Happy Time” – singing, rejoicing, and enjoying sweets.

Usually, we always include an evangelistic moment in such events to remind everyone about Christ. During this ministry, IMOSE groups, along with our local pastors, shared the Word with teenagers and distributed about 150 Gospels to these young boys. Also, we are grateful to the team that covered our need for flooring in three recently built school classrooms! This work is completed, and the kids will have the opportunity to learn in a comfortable environment.

The construction process of the girls’ center has started, and lately, it has been taking much of our time. Next, we plan to finish the foundation. We are also trying to drill a well on the premises as quickly as possible.

Despite the construction, 15 girls are already receiving support at the shelter in Pokot, 4 girls received support for admission to a boarding middle school, and 11 girls are currently in the rescue center and attending school nearby on a day basis. They receive counseling, food, shelter, clothing, mental health assessments, medical check-ups, and school fees. In our shelter, we have 6 staff members who are doing their job well.

Thank you for your constant care, love, and support!
