In Kisumu, Kenya, the local church continues to grow as a place where people are not only gathered, but truly known. Over the past weeks, Pastor Baraka, together with his family and the team of Assistance Mission, has been serving both in quiet, personal moments and in the life of the wider community.

Pastoral visits have become an important part of this служіння. In homes across the area, prayers are shared, stories are heard, and people open their hearts about what they are walking through. These moments are simple, but they carry weight — a reminder that no one stands alone. At the church, prayer remains at the centre. Regular prayer room sessions and bi-weekly gatherings continue to shape a deeper relationship with God, where Scripture is not only read but lived through intercession and personal surrender.

At the same time, practical care continues every single day. Around 190 people — widows, orphans, single mothers, and those in vulnerable situations — receive a hot meal each evening. For many, this is more than food. It is stability in uncertain days, and a sign that someone sees them and cares.

There is also steady investment in the next generation. Weekly discipleship classes for young men are helping them build a foundation in God’s Word. Step by step, they are learning not only to grow in faith but to carry it forward and teach others. Alongside this, a one-day seminar with the church worship team brought clarity and encouragement, helping them understand worship not as a task, but as a response to God grounded in Scripture.

This church continues to stand as a place where lives are being shaped — through prayer, through teaching, and through daily acts of care. What is happening here has been made possible through the support of those who stand behind this ministry and continue to give.

Thank you to everyone who supports this work through IMOCE. Your faithfulness is reaching homes, feeding families, and strengthening the church in places where it is deeply needed.
