Ukraine on the Line: Updates from Our Ministry
Greetings, friends! Ukraine is here, and by God’s grace, we are alive and able to serve. Today, we want to share some updates about the ministry we carried out last week.
Supporting Our Soldiers
We continue to serve our military by sending essential packages. Thanks to God and the volunteers in Lviv, we successfully sent crucial supplies, including:
– Starlinks
– Electronic Warfare Equipment
– Medical Supplies
These packages were sent to various directions, meeting the needs of those on the frontlines.
Another area we’ve embraced is online counseling and psychological support through Instagram, Signal, and Telegram. Many soldiers, especially those serving since 2022, are struggling under the immense burden they face daily.
They endure terrifying experiences, and while explosions haunt their days, even moments of silence bring no peace. Here’s what some of them share with us.
Helping Local Communities
While supporting soldiers, we also serve those around us who are in need. Our Happy Time Youth Space continues to operate, providing a safe haven for teenagers. These include children of soldiers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other young people living through the challenges of war in Ukraine.
In collaboration with the local city council, we also provide psychological assistance to children from IDP families. The city has granted us a space in the local library where we host our training sessions. Parents bring their children because many have experienced trauma:
– Some witnessed the loss of loved ones.
– Others fled under heavy shelling.
– Many cannot cope with air raid alarms.
Our mission is to identify their needs, offer psychological support, and share the message of Christ’s love.
Reaching the Youth
Our team recently participated in a youth conference, where we led worship. It was a powerful time of prayer, with many young people coming forward to be prayed for and blessed for future ministry.
Caring for Mothers and Children
We also continue to provide aid to mothers with small children, offering baby formula and diapers to those in need. Additionally, we were invited to a celebration for children with disabilities. It was a privilege to spend time with them, give gifts, and share moments of encouragement.
Grateful for Your Support
We are incredibly thankful to all of you who make this ministry possible. Your support enables us to serve, help, and remain active in our mission. Thank you for standing with us and being part of this journey.
Together, we bring hope and God’s love to those in need.
