Greetings, Friends! Ukraine is in Touch

Praise the Lord—our teams continue to move forward, helping people, preaching the Gospel, and we are grateful for the support you provide us.

Ukraine is now facing another challenge, especially in the eastern and central regions—dust in the air that makes it difficult to breathe. We are advised not to go outside without masks, visibility is very poor, city transport has stopped operating, and kindergartens and schools have closed. We are aware that the US is also experiencing severe weather challenges, so we are praying for both Ukraine and the US. Despite these hardships, we continue our ministry, and we’d like to share how our week went.

We keep working with teenagers and children, inviting them to Christian clubs held at the church.

The Happy Time club for teenagers is attended by 20 to 25 participants—these are children from non-Christian families, so we provide individual pastoral care to each one of them. The KIDMIX children’s club currently has 15-18 attendees, also from non-believing families. In every meeting, they learn the Word of God and receive practical advice for life. They also attend an art workshop where they can express and release emotional tension through creative activities.

Additionally, we have begun holding training sessions through the city council to help reduce anxiety among children and teens. These sessions include psychological support and art therapy. They take place at the local library, and all the children who attend are those who have survived bombings, fled combat zones, or lost loved ones. During the sessions, we provide not only psychological assistance but also hope in the Lord. They learn to overcome fears, forgive, and find purpose in continuing their lives.

Alongside these youth projects, we continue to provide help to those who come to us—people in difficult circumstances, the disabled, and internally displaced persons. Thanks to the humanitarian department, we provide support to churches and other charitable organizations, which then distribute it to those in need.

We are very grateful to everyone who contributes—those who donate money, send supplies, and pray for us! May the Lord be with you!
