Supporting missionaries in Kenya 10/02/2024
Greetings from Kisumu!
Andrii serves in Kisumu with the “Sodeystvie” mission. His work involves coordinating supplies and helping with a variety of other tasks—there’s always plenty to do. From repairs to maintenance, he stays busy and focused on serving the local community. Some of these activities are captured in the accompanying photographs.
Over the past few months, Andrii has been involved in both mission-related and other projects. Unfortunately, he recently fell ill with a cough but is feeling much better now.
One of the highlights of his work has been the recent trip to Molo, where they visited a home for children with disabilities. There, Andrii and his team organized a program filled with games, contests, Bible stories, and gifts. The experience at this special place always gives Andrii pause, reminding him to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life—like walking unaided, seeing clearly, and not suffering from painful reactions to food.
The greatest gift they can offer these children is their time, attention, and affection—those brief, happy moments spent together. Andrii believes that through these interactions, the children experience the love of their Heavenly Father, and the message of the Gospel is sown in their hearts.
He extends his heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support. “Your prayers and encouragement allow us to continue this vital work, and in doing so, you are part of God’s greater mission.”
Be blessed!
