Greetings from Kenya!

My name is Natalia, and I have been serving with the “Sodєjstviє” mission in Kenya for almost 8 years. I’d like to share some highlights from the past few weeks.

Recently, we organized a Christmas celebration for the children in our orphanage. I was responsible for all the preparations: planning the event, wrapping gifts, and organizing the program. The celebration was warm and family-like. We reminded the children that the true reason for this holiday is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The children recited poems, sang songs, and performed a small skit. Afterward, we opened gifts together and enjoyed a festive meal.

We have also started meetings for children aged 8–12 years. At our first meeting, attendance was low due to the late end of school activities, so we plan to adjust the timing to allow more children to participate.

In addition, I’ve been working on budgeting and setting yearly goals for the orphanage and the pre-teen ministry. This includes identifying children who still need sponsors, assessing current payments, and determining which areas we can cover or where we need additional funding.

Another joyful event was the water baptism in our church. After two weeks of teaching, six teenagers made the decision to be baptized, and 30 people were baptized in total. Praise God for their commitment!

Thank you sincerely for your financial and prayerful support! You are helping to expand God’s Kingdom on this earth. May God bless each one of you abundantly!
