Christ is Born!
Warm greetings to all from Kenya, where we serve with love and dedication. Although there’s no snow here and carols are not sung, the true spirit of Christmas is alive and thriving.

Bringing Christmas to a Children’s Home

Last week, we held an unforgettable evangelization event at a children’s home in Kisumu. We brought our “Happy Time” program, and the children welcomed us with open arms, beaming smiles, and warm hugs. Our goal was to share happiness, love, and, most importantly, the message of Jesus Christ.

Because many of the children have special needs, we organized them into small groups of 10–15, each led by a team of leaders and assistants. Some children needed to be carried or helped in wheelchairs, but they enthusiastically participated in every activity.

The first part of the program was filled with fun: popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, a bouncy castle, games, and crafts that the children especially loved. This was followed by a puppet show about the Christmas story. Many of these children had never experienced anything like it before, and their eyes lit up with wonder, particularly when Baby Jesus appeared on stage.

After the performance, we hugged the children, held their hands, and reminded them of God’s deep love for them. We prayed for their health, spiritual well-being, and future. Finally, thanks to your support, we gave each child a small gift that filled their hearts with joy.

Christmas Celebration for Teens

On December 18, we organized an evangelization event for nearly 500 teenagers. The hall was filled with laughter, songs, and games. Activities included a Christmas-themed lottery, gift exchanges, and a fun game where blindfolded participants fed each other cake.

Every teen received a gift and enjoyed a festive meal of rice and chicken. The highlight of the event was a special skit inspired by the anticipation and faith of those waiting for Christ’s birth. Together, we worshiped our Savior, remembering that Christmas is all about Him.

Preparing for Christmas Blessings

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, our team packed 3,000 gifts in batches of 1,000. We also hosted a camp for active teenagers, where I taught about hearing God’s voice. It was a joy to see their hunger for God’s Word as they eagerly took notes and explored the Scriptures.

In addition to preparing programs for the children’s home, I also sorted gifts for each child and celebrated with a foster family that recently welcomed two boys from our home. One of our boys, with the help of a sponsor, distributed donuts at our charitable dining hall, bringing smiles to many.

Looking Ahead

As we prepare for the new school year, I reflect on the blessings of this season and the incredible support that makes this ministry possible.

Once again, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your homes be filled with blessings, love, and peace in the coming year!
