Supporting missionaries in Kenya 07/18/2024
Greetings from Kenya with “Aid Mission”!
We visited our schoolchildren with the team. We gave them shoes and backpacks. Melvin, a girl who had no school shoes, was pleasantly surprised. Interestingly, children in Kenyan schools study 6 days a week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Taking care of the children is a joy for me.
Our church, “New Life,” is in the city of Kisumu. I am glad to have the opportunity to share my testimony at the youth meeting in the church. I spoke about my repentance, the challenges and victories in ministry, and the importance of a relationship with God. At the end, we prayed for the youth.
The mission office operates every day. The local team of four people serves in six social projects. We face new issues concerning students who do not want to attend or want to change schools. Every time, we need more wisdom and patience. But what a joy it is to see the changes in people over time!
This is Ken, a young man who serves in our church. He wants to study. Our task in the “Child Sponsorship” program is to help children get an education, especially those we can influence. This is a significant part of our ministry, and we plan to help Ken.
Serving with you is a privilege and a pleasure. I pray that God expands your boundaries and multiplies the fruits! Thank you for your faithful heart!
