Supporting missionaries in Kenya 07/11/2024
Greetings from Kenya’s “Mission Assistance.” My name is Inna Merzla. In our church “New Life,” we have over 250 parishioners. People come to us for medicine and help. This man, Vitalis, has a swollen leg. He is the father of 10 children. We are helping with his treatment and praying for his healing.
We are grateful for local workers like Charles and many others who help take care of the missionary base. It is a joy to see the youth develop, and it’s great to be able to trust them with more responsibilities!
We had a meeting with the kitchen workers, Bento and Anna. Every day, they prepare lunch for people in the “Feeding” program. We discussed the work rules. It is so important to meet with the team!
Every Sunday, we have many people in the church office: students, families with children. Through the “Assistance” program, we take care of rent and medicines for the needy. We often encounter challenging situations. This teaches us to be merciful, like Jesus.
I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and often do not think about how much of a blessing this is. Kenyans do not always have the finances to feed their large families. Therefore, we have the “Feed the Hungry” project with hot lunches that meet the needs of our Dunga Beach area.
We are very grateful, friends, that we can serve together with you all over the world!
