Supporting missionaries in Kenya 07/11/2024
Greetings to IMOCE Family!
My name is Natalia and my family is serving communities in West Pokot as Transforming Africa Foundation (TAF Kenya).
I’m happy to share about the things are happening on a mission field.
🎦 This month we have celebrated the completion of the HOPE film at our mission base. And watched the movie together for the first time as a church during Sunday service. 6 ladies decided to give their lives to Jesus.
🤍 As well we held our first joined women’s fellowship meeting. The ladies had time to talk to each other, learn and encourage. We finished the session with a little workshop with decorating and eating donuts 🍩 together! They felt so much joy and love!
👧🏽 We continue to rescue lives and pour love into girls who were rescued from child marriage, sexual abuse and female circumcision. With the help of team of visitors we were able to organize special lunch and encouragement session for 15 girls. Once more reassure them of God’s love for each of them!
🏫Our pastors have visited and preached at Kiriami secondary boys school, and 9 boys gave their lives to Christ 🙌
⛪️ We hosted National Council Churches of Kenya peace meeting discussing community issues of co-existence , cattle rattling, illegal arms, child marriage, and education.
Our Life Center will be hosting such events on a quarterly basis.
⛪️ Pastors conducted community entry meetings at 3 possibly new church locations.
In one of the 3 locations pastors held community peace meeting – and the community elders gave 10 acres of land for the church. The construction started last week!
And we already got 9 people who got saved during the outreaches conducted by pastors – those are the first church members.
We appreciate the financial support you are giving to 4 pastors and a missionary on a ground. We can’t do it without you!
May God abundantly bless you! 🙌
