Dear friends,

Christ is risen!
We rejoice together with you in the glorious celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have been serving in Kenya with the Assistance Mission for almost eight years, focusing on orphans and preteens. Today, I would love to share some highlights from the past two weeks.

Mission Trip to the Pokot Tribe

During the school holidays, we organized a special two-day outreach to the Pokot tribe called “Happy Time.”
The first day was dedicated to children, and the second to teens and young adults.

I coordinated the trip, preparing the program together with my local assistant Emma and several missionaries from the Assistance Mission. We also received great help from local participants of the “Year for God” project.

🧒 Children’s Day

We welcomed 288 children (not counting those under three years old)!
The day included:

  • Introduction games and icebreakers

  • A Bible lesson about Easter

  • Worship time

  • A hot lunch for all the children

After lunch, the children rotated through eight stations:

  • Craft Station: creating frames with a cross and Bible verses

  • Medical Station: learning hygiene, handwashing, and nail trimming

  • Candy Floss and Balloons: bringing smiles and laughter

  • Games Station: races and challenges, with candy prizes

  • Gifts Station: juice and corn puffs as special treats

  • Bible Puzzle Station: assembling verses about Christ’s work for us

  • Prayer Station: leaving handprints in the shape of a cross and writing prayers

  • Popcorn and Face Painting: fun activities that filled the children with joy

After the stations, the kids split into color groups where leaders discussed the Bible lesson, answered their questions, and helped them reflect on what they had learned.

👥 Youth Day

The second day focused on teens and young adults.
We organized:

  • Bible teachings and discussions on being born again, worship, and the movement of the Holy Spirit

  • Group activities and fellowship

  • Games and a hot lunch

It was a powerful time of growing in faith and connection.

🙌 Weekly Preteen Ministry

Every Wednesday and Saturday, we hold services for preteens, with 250–300 young people attending regularly.
Together, we study the Word of God, share the Gospel, and gather in small groups for deeper learning.
Whenever possible, we also provide a hot meal or healthy snacks before the service.

🔥 Fire Camp for Teens

At the same time, we held a “Fire Camp” for 34 active teens.
We explored topics such as water baptism and hearing God’s voice.
It was a beautiful time of deeper spiritual growth and building stronger relationships with Christ.

⛪ Easter Preparations

Together with Sasha, we decorated the church for Easter.
Although neither of us are professional decorators, we did it with love — and the result turned out beautifully.

🏠 Family-Style Homes Project

My main ministry is the children’s home, which is now transitioning into several family-style homes.
We are currently preparing legal documents and working on administrative tasks.

During the school break, I spent special time with the children: playing games, making candy floss and popcorn, watching movies, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
We also prepared information letters and individual photos for each child’s sponsor — a detailed process that requires time and care.

We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support, which make this ministry in Kenya possible.
Together, we bring the light of God to those who need it most.

May the Lord bless each of you abundantly! 🙌🏽
