Vlada Sydorchuk, a missionary in Kenya, expresses her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports missionaries, enabling them to serve and meet essential needs.

Ministry in the Slums

Vlada serves in a church located in one of the poorest areas. The church hosts various activities daily, including:

  • Sunday services,
  • home groups,
  • discipleship groups,
  • children’s, teen, and youth programs,
  • prayer meetings.

Beyond spiritual work, the mission actively assists locals in overcoming daily challenges.

Social Projects

  1. Support for the Elderly

    • Providing meals.
    • Reading the Bible (especially for those unable to read due to age).
    • Supplying medication.
  2. Assistance to Widows

    • Visiting and supporting them with food supplies.
    • Inviting them to the church’s charitable dining hall.
  3. Education for Youth and Children

    • Paying for school fees and ensuring attendance.
    • Building a new generation that is literate, educated, and capable of earning a living.

Teamwork and Growth

Vlada works with a dedicated team of five people, each responsible for specific areas of ministry. Over the 8-9 years of collaboration, they have achieved significant progress:

  • Mastering computer skills.
  • Learning financial management.
  • Men training in driving schools.
  • Three out of four team members are becoming certified social workers.

Goals and Vision

Vlada’s mission is to teach people about life, the Gospel, professional, and practical skills, passing on everything she knows. The team dreams of creating disciples who can continue this work.

Gratitude to Partners

Vlada extends heartfelt thanks to all who support her ministry through prayers, finances, and active involvement. Together, they are transforming lives in Kenya.
