Kenya 07/20/2023
My name is Andrei, and I serve in Kenya, in the city of Kisumu, in the Aid Mission. During this time, we have accomplished a lot. I finally finished working on the toilet in our second church, and now it can be used. I installed tanks to collect rainwater in the church, fitted entrance doors, and attended to other needs.
Additionally, our small team once again visited the shelter for children with disabilities and conducted a program there. The program included tactile communication, washing clothes, competitions, crafting activities, treats, cartoons, and, of course, a Bible lesson. I want to emphasize that this place is special for us. Being there and caring for the children feels like a rejuvenation of the soul. After the daily routines of life, interacting with children with special needs is truly refreshing. Not everyone can overcome themselves and visit such a place. Therefore, your support has an endless impact on me. It transforms into time, attention, effort, care, and extends to other people. Thank you for your support and for your kind hearts!
I want to ask you to pray for God’s blessing on Kenya. Lately, there have been frequent protests for lowering food prices and fighting local politics. These protests can last for several days, during which people burn stores, engage in fights, and attempt to rob others along their path. Naturally, the mission’s activities are affected during these times. We can’t travel to the city to purchase building materials, food, and other necessities. We are doing what we had prepared in advance.
Once again, thank you for your support. May God bless you abundantly!
