We are deeply grateful for your faithful support of Victoria School in Turkana, Kenya. Thanks to your generosity, the school continues to open its doors every day, offering not only education but also hope to children and families in one of the harshest regions of Africa.

Despite the intense heat and difficult living conditions, most of the children attend regularly. A few are absent due to malaria, which remains widespread in the region. For this reason, we are now considering opening a small medical station on-site, so we can respond more quickly to students’ health needs.

As the number of students grows, our need for more classrooms becomes urgent. Some children are now forced to sit on the ground outside during lessons, and exams are particularly challenging in these conditions. Inside the classrooms, space is tight — there are simply more children than the rooms can hold.

This season has also been especially difficult for Turkana as many families are facing hunger. It is not uncommon to see parents coming to school with their children just to share a meal, grateful for the daily nourishment that the school provides.

We are also incredibly thankful for your support in equipping the school kitchen!
With your help, we were able to purchase:

  • Two new energy-saving stoves

  • Two large stainless steel cooking pots

  • New serving tables

These improvements are a huge blessing. The new stoves reduce fuel use, and the stainless steel pots are far safer for the children’s health than the old aluminum ones. Cooking is now more efficient and hygienic, benefiting everyone involved.

Victoria School is no longer just a school — it has become a place of transformation for the whole village. Parents are involved, supportive, and even employed through the school, allowing them to provide for their families with dignity.

Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your love.
You are an essential part of this ministry. Every lesson taught, every meal served, and every child welcomed is a testimony of your impact.

From the children, their families, and the entire school team —
thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Together, we are building something beautiful in the desert.
