Growing Stronger in Faith and Community in West Pokot
In recent weeks, the Transforming Africa Foundation (TAF) team has continued to serve faithfully in West Pokot, walking alongside families, youth, and children in both spiritual and practical ways. These days were filled with moments of encouragement, prayer, and the strengthening of God’s people.
One of the highlights was a couple’s seminar, where men and women gathered to be reminded of the importance of building strong, Christ-centered relationships. The purpose was clear: to raise Godly families that can stand firm in faith and love.
At the same time, the team reached out to the younger generation through a youth seminar that focused on identity and purpose in Christ. Many were challenged and encouraged to live lives that reflect the truth of the Gospel, even amid daily struggles.
Through the pastoral household outreach, 16 families were visited and 10 Bible study sessions were held. These visits offered not only teaching from Scripture but also prayer, comfort, and the assurance that God’s family is never alone.
Church life also flourished. Every week, services continued across the region, but on August 31, 2025, something special happened: leaders from four local church assemblies came together for a joint service of prayer and reflection. It was a beautiful picture of unity and shared mission.
Beyond the walls of the churches, the ministry touched the lives of many children as they returned to school. Pastors distributed food, ensuring that children could enjoy lunch during their school days, while stationery and Bible sessions reminded them that God cares about their education as well as their hearts.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes this ministry possible—especially the IMOCE family whose faithful support helps sustain pastors and missionaries serving in the field. Each meal, each seminar, each prayer visit carries the fragrance of Christ’s love into the lives of many.
Thank you for standing with West Pokot. May God continue to bless this work, raising families, youth, and children who live with hope and purpose in Him.
