Community Outreach and Gospel Impact in West Pokot
At the end of November 2025, Transforming Africa Foundation (TAF), led by missionaries Natalia and David, carried out a week-long evangelism and community outreach in West Pokot County, Kenya. The focus of the ministry was to bring the message of the Gospel directly to families while responding to practical needs within the community.
During the outreach, the team visited 33 households, meeting men in their traditional gathering places and women at local water points. Four open-air Gospel meetings were held across the region, creating space for prayer, teaching, and personal conversations. Over the past two weeks, 45 people made a decision to follow Christ as a result of these meetings.
At the peak of the evangelism week, the outreach was joined by friends from Kitale and the IMOCE team. Together with the local missionaries, they conducted a medical camp on 28 November 2025. Many families received essential medical care, while children took part in a special program that included games, activities, and teaching from God’s Word. This combination of medical support and children’s ministry became a visible expression of Christ’s love in action.
The week concluded with a historic moment for the local church community: the first wedding ever held in one of the churches in West Pokot. This celebration strengthened families and served as a meaningful testimony of Christian marriage, inspiring both young and older members of the community.
During their visit, the IMOCE team also spent time at the Girls Rescue Center, encouraging the girls, bringing practical gifts, and offering personal support. Their presence strengthened ongoing ministry efforts and affirmed the value of partnership in serving vulnerable communities.
This outreach was made possible through the faithful support of sponsors and partners who stand with the mission through IMOCE. Their generosity continues to help bring the Gospel to unreached areas while meeting real needs on the ground.
