Christmas Tour of Hope: Ministry to Children and Families in Ukraine
After the Christmas season came to an end, the ministry team in Ukraine completed a Christmas outreach tour, bringing the message of hope to communities across the country. Despite frequent power outages, freezing temperatures, and the lack of heating in many local cultural centers, the team continued serving—often performing twice a day, powered by generators.
Through Christmas programs and animated performances, the team reached more than 1,000 children. These were children from non-believing families, children displaced by the war, children from low-income households, and children whose parents are currently defending Ukraine or who have lost their fathers in the war. Each meeting focused on the story of Christmas, the meaning of hope, and prayer with the children.
A special part of the outreach was a visit to a children’s home for children with disabilities. Together with supporters and friends from Germany, the team prepared and distributed gifts, expressing care and love in a very tangible way.
In addition, a separate gathering was organized for widows whose husbands were killed while defending Ukraine. The team spent time listening, praying, and sharing space with their grief and pain. Gifts were given to both the widows and their children as a sign that Christmas is a message of hope—for everyone, even in the darkest circumstances.
This ministry in Ukraine continues thanks to the faithful support of sponsors and friends who stand with the country through prayer, generosity, and commitment. The team expresses sincere gratitude to everyone who supports the mission and remains alongside Ukraine during this time.
