While the world’s attention is fixed on high-level negotiations and political statements, everyday life in Ukraine continues under the shadow of war. Villages and towns that receive bread through our joint efforts live to the constant sound of sirens and explosions. Drones and rockets fill the sky, making every journey a risk, every delivery a challenge.

This past week, the situation grew especially severe in the regions of Sumy, Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. In Dobropillia, volunteers were unable to bring bread because of intense shelling. Evacuations are ongoing, yet many elderly people remain behind — not because they want to, but because they simply have nowhere else to go.

In the midst of such darkness, the work continues. Bread is still being baked, packed, and carried out to those in need. Each loaf is more than food; it is a reminder that they are not forgotten, that God sees their pain, and that His people still care.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes this possible. Your prayers, your generosity, and your faithful hearts are keeping hope alive. May the Lord bless you abundantly for standing with Ukraine in these days.
