Greetings, friends! We continue our ministry in Ukraine, with a particular focus on the Kirovohrad region.

The outreach encompasses several key areas:

  • Ministry to children and teenagers
  • Aid to those displaced by the war
  • Support for internally displaced persons (IDPs)
  • Assistance for individuals with disabilities
  • Aid for families of fallen heroes
  • Support for people in difficult life situations
  • Collaboration with other churches and charitable organizations
  • Assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
  • Psychological support for children with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Supporting Families of Fallen Soldiers
The city of Oleksandriia has lost many soldiers, leaving behind families and children. Some of these families are struggling deeply with their loss, often hesitant to reach out for help. However, others appreciate knowing that they have not been forgotten. With the support of our partners in Germany, we recently arranged a retreat to the Carpathian Mountains for some of these families. We provided each family with quality thermoses, courtesy of the humanitarian department, and representatives of the city council added some sweets to the care packages.

Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
We continue to support those who have fled areas under heavy shelling. Sadly, the occupation in the Donetsk region persists, leading to an influx of people seeking refuge. Last month alone, an additional 200 people arrived, many with no clothing or basic necessities. We’re grateful to the humanitarian department for providing containers filled with essential supplies for these individuals.

“Happy Time” Youth and Children’s Ministry
Our ministry to children and teens remains active. At the Victory Church base, we host a Christian club for children and teens, where young people from non-believing families are introduced to Christ through hands-on activities, Bible lessons, and expressions of love. Thanks to the support of the IMOCE mission, we were able to purchase an oven and a guitar for this group. Regular sessions provide youth with practical tips for managing stress and an introduction to Christ’s teachings.

Support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
We continue to send care packages to our soldiers, filled with necessary items like chemical hand warmers, warm socks, and other clothing for the colder weather, as well as treats to boost their morale. Recently, we collaborated with local organizations to gather donations, including support from a local kindergarten, which collected supplies for the 79th Brigade.

Psychological Support for Children with Trauma
In partnership with the city council and other organizations, we provide psychological services and art therapy for children affected by the war. Many of these children have endured immense trauma—some have lost loved ones, others have lived through bombings, and many have family members still residing in occupied areas. Listening to their stories is heart-wrenching, and we aim to offer them compassion and healing through our work.

Support for Other Charities and Churches
Our ministry extends to assist other charitable organizations that reach out to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to the humanitarian department for its ongoing support. Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who contributes financially and through prayer—these are our greatest needs, and we cannot thank you enough.
