Supporting missionaries in Kenya 08/17/2024
Greetings, friends!
My name is Andrey, and I serve in Kisumu, Kenya, with the Assistance team. We recently said goodbye to our youth team from the USA and are continuing our work here. While they were with us, we had many opportunities to serve together, taking the team to church, prisons, and other places. They shared the Word of God with people and prayed for them.
We also said goodbye to another guest who reaches children’s hearts through sports. He held wrestling training sessions for local kids who are already practicing the sport here.
We thank God and everyone who supported us in prayer for a specific need. One of our missionaries fell ill, and we took her to the hospital, where she underwent surgery. Now, she is doing well, recovering at home. In moments like these, you feel God’s love and the support of those around you in a special way. It’s deeply moving to know that someone is praying for you and visiting you.
Thank you for your financial and prayerful support. We pray for you, your families, and that God richly rewards you for your sacrifice and faithfulness in this ministry. Blessings to you and peace in your hearts.
Part of my ministry includes purchasing groceries for the mission, and this is just a portion of the total amount. I also take photos of the youth for whom our guests organized outings with fellowship, preaching, and active games. These games, where success depends on the unity of the team, are always relevant for both the locals and us.
We had a great time together—praise God for this moment. We also had a men’s talk and shared a sermon with the boys.
Blessings to all!
