Serving the Elderly and Uplifting Children: A Mission of Love in Kenya
Greetings from Kenya!
We are deeply grateful for your faithful support that allows us to serve here every day. Because of your willingness to send and support missionaries, much work is being done — and you are an active part of the Great Commission!
With joy, we share the stories and smiling faces of those whose lives have been touched through your generosity.
Ministering to the Elderly
Every morning at 7:30 AM, we host prayer breakfasts for the elderly. Many of the 22 seniors under our care struggle with poor eyesight and cannot read, so we read the Bible aloud and pray together. Doing so over a warm cup of tea adds a special touch of fellowship and comfort.
Each month, we personally visit every elder — listening, praying, and sharing the love of Christ. This ministry brings light to lives that are often lonely and forgotten.
Celebrating Children with Joy
We also make it a point to visit children from our church on their birthdays — to bring a smile, a word of encouragement, and a small gift. Many of them are part of our Child Sponsorship Program, which not only covers school fees but sometimes includes funds for birthday presents. Visiting them at home is always a joyful moment, both for us and the families.
Child Sponsorship Expands
Today, more than 550 children are enrolled in the sponsorship program! Recently, we have welcomed even more children into the initiative, and it brings us great joy to see more kids in school and more sponsors joining this life-changing work. We look forward with faith to the fruits these seeds will bear in the future.
From each of us here in Kenya, we send you heartfelt greetings and gratitude.
To every supporter of IMOC (International Ministry Of Charity) — thank you. Your support is our strong foundation, and we feel your love in every step we take.
Together, we labor for His glory. May the Lord bless you richly!
With sincere thanks,
Vlada Sydorchuk, Kenya
