Report from Natalia – Mission TAF
We are grateful to share an update from Natalia, who serves with Mission TAF in Kenya, where we support missionary and local church pastors ministering to the Pokot tribe.
Spreading the Gospel Among the Pokot People
Hello, IMOC family! I’m Natalia, and I am so grateful to be part of this amazing team. Together with my family and the local team, we are serving the Pokot tribe, bringing both spiritual and practical support to the community.
Firstly, I want to apologize for missing the last update. Over the past month, I have been unwell, dealing with persistent stomach aches that have made it difficult to sleep. While still waiting for a clear diagnosis, I am also caring for a newborn, which makes this season particularly challenging. I would truly appreciate your prayers for my health and strength.
Despite these personal struggles, I am excited to share some incredible updates from the mission field. The pastors serving in the remote areas of West Pokot County have remained steadfast in their mission, evangelizing and discipling local communities.
Recent Ministry Activities
In the past few weeks, the team has: ✔️ Organized two powerful evangelistic crusades that gathered many people eager to hear the Word of God. ✔️ Conducted 16 household visits, where pastors ministered to families, prayed for the sick, and provided encouragement. ✔️ Engaged in school evangelism, reaching out to students with the message of hope and salvation. ✔️ Held midweek services across seven church locations, welcoming young men and women into active discipleship. ✔️ Introduced Friday prayer meetings (4:30 pm – 6:00 pm) to strengthen the faith of the local believers. ✔️ Supported a local women’s seminar, equipping women with biblical knowledge and practical skills for their families and communities. ✔️ Celebrated with a church member who recently gave birth, as women from the congregation visited and blessed her with prayers and encouragement.
We also deeply appreciate the support given to four of our dedicated pastors through IMOC’s partnership with Mission TAF. Together, we are restoring hope and transforming lives!
How You Can Pray 🙏 For Natalia’s health and strength as she continues to serve while caring for her newborn. 🙏 For the pastors ministering in remote areas, that they may be filled with wisdom, endurance, and provision. 🙏 For the new believers, that they may grow in faith and become strong disciples of Christ. 🙏 For the continued expansion of the Gospel among the Pokot people, leading to lasting transformation in their communities.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support. Your generosity makes this ministry possible, and we are grateful for your partnership in the work of the Kingdom!
Together, we are making a difference!
