Hope That Shines Through the Darkness
Greetings, dear friends! 🇺🇦
Warm hello from Ukraine — where, even in the hardest days, we continue to believe: God is good.
The situation in Ukraine has once again become more difficult.
Drones and missiles reach almost every region, and many families are forced to move from place to place in search of safety.
Power cuts and water shortages have returned, becoming part of our daily life.
In the Kirovohrad region, where we serve, constant shelling has damaged infrastructure again and again. Some days we have no electricity or water at all.
And yet — we stand firm. 💪
Because God is with us. And where He is — hope remains alive.
Serving Children and Teens
Despite the challenges, we continue our ministry to children and teenagers through our children’s club and the “Happy Time” youth space.
Every week, these meetings become a place of joy, faith, and healing.
Children receive not only a sweet treat but also spiritual nourishment — lessons from the Bible, prayer, and genuine care.
The “Happy Time” space is where young hearts shine with hope.
Here, every child feels seen, valued, and loved.
It’s more than just a youth gathering — it’s a place where teens discover that faith is not about religion, but about a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are especially grateful for the children who come from non-believing families. Here, they encounter kindness, warmth, and the presence of God through the open hearts of those who serve.
“Happy Time” has truly become a space of joy, trust, and transformation — a place where faith and friendship are born, and light begins to grow.
Supporting Our Defenders
We also continue to care for those who protect our homeland — our brave soldiers. 💙💛
Thanks to generous hearts, we were able to purchase winter tires for a military vehicle and a power station to help the team work safely in the field.
A special thank-you goes to the parents of our kindergarten children who organized a charity fair.
They baked pastries, crafted handmade gifts, and donated all proceeds to help our defenders.
Their love and unity were a powerful testimony that kindness is stronger than fear.
Helping Those in Crisis
Our ministry also reaches people facing the deepest pain — families in crisis, people with disabilities, and those who have lost everything.
Recently, we met a young mother, 35 years old, who lost her entire family during the war.
She fled her hometown while pregnant, gave birth alone, and was left without shelter or support.
Because of illness, she cannot breastfeed her baby — and one can of formula costs $15, far beyond her reach.
We couldn’t stay aside.
We bought baby formula, found a crib and stroller, provided food, and helped her find temporary housing.
Her story reminded us that miracles still happen — wherever love and compassion meet.
We are deeply thankful to the humanitarian department and to everyone who packs aid boxes for little Ukrainians. Your care changes lives.
Children of Victory Project
By God’s grace and through the leadership of Anatoliy Kolomiiets, we’ve taken another important step in serving war-affected families — signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the city administration of Berdychiv within the framework of the Children of Victory project.
This project is about memory, love, and care.
During our meeting, we spoke with mothers of fallen heroes — moments filled with tears, silence, and deep strength.
Even through grief, their love remains unshakable.
We believe that this project will become a source of healing and encouragement for their children — a reminder that their fathers’ sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Bringing Hope to Schools
Recently, our team was invited to a local school, where we held a workshop for eighth-grade students:
“How to Restore Emotional Balance During the War.”
It was a warm and sincere time.
We shared our personal stories of how God brings healing, spoke about faith, hope, and inner renewal.
The children laughed, played, and reflected on the future — one we all long for: peaceful, bright, and full of love.
Moments like these are where hearts encounter God’s presence — where even in darkness, a small light begins to shine.
Every day brings new challenges and new faces — people in need of help, prayer, and a kind word.
We know we cannot help everyone…
But we know what we are called to do:
to be near, to listen, to care, and to love.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us — through your prayers, your giving, and your open hearts.
Together, we remain strong.
Together, we remain hopeful.
Together, we are the light that no darkness can overcome. 🌿
