On February 5, 2026, the grounds of Kapretwa Primary School in Saboti became a place where children laughed freely and parents stood in quiet lines, waiting for help. That Tuesday was not an ordinary school day. It was a day when care reached deeper than words.

The outreach was carried out by the team of Okafrica in Kenya through the Happy Time program, together with the Medical Clinic and the Jiggers (Dudu) Clinic. More than 1,400 children gathered for “Happy Time.” They listened to the Gospel, sang, responded to simple questions about faith, and discovered — some perhaps for the first time — that they are seen and loved by God. The message was shared in a way children could understand: clear, joyful, and personal. In a community where daily life is often marked by hardship, that reminder matters.

At the same time, 450 patients were received at the Medical Clinic. Mothers carrying babies, elderly people walking slowly, schoolchildren waiting patiently — each one was treated with attention and dignity. Medical care was provided for various conditions, and every person was prayed for. Physical healing and spiritual encouragement stood side by side.

More than 100 children suffering from jiggers were treated in the Dudu Clinic. For many of them, the pain had been constant, affecting their ability to walk, attend school, or even sleep well. After treatment, each child received protective Crocs to guard their feet and help prevent reinfestation. It was a simple gift, yet for these children it meant comfort, protection, and the chance to return to school without shame.

This day reflected what holistic ministry looks like in practice: the Gospel preached, wounds treated, dignity restored.

Such outreach became possible thanks to the faithful support of sponsors who stand with this ministry through IMOCE. Because of those who choose to give and pray, vulnerable children and families in Saboti were reached with both practical help and the love of Christ.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this work. Your partnership carries hope into places where it is urgently needed — and lives are being changed through it.
