Daily Bread and Hope in Kenya
In Kisumu, Kenya, the Assistance Mission continues to be a place of steady care and hope. Vlada, who has been serving here for several years, shares how, together with local church leaders, the mission walks alongside families in both their spiritual and physical needs.
Every day begins with the same commitment: to care for people as Jesus would. The mission helps children enroll in schools, finds support for their studies, and keeps close track of each need. Medical help is offered to those who cannot afford treatment, food is purchased and prepared, and countless small problems are solved so that life can go on with dignity.
The kitchen is always busy. Each morning, around 20 people receive breakfast, and in the evening, more than 135 come for a hot dinner. Behind these meals is a faithful rhythm of planning, meetings, and long hours at the desk—yet every bit of effort carries the warmth of God’s love into homes and hearts.
The focus remains on children, who are seen not only as those in need today but also as the future of Kenya. With education, care, and encouragement, they are growing into a generation that will walk with Christ—equipped, hopeful, and ready to serve.
This is the fruit of many hands and open hearts. Through your prayers and support of IMOCE, people in Kisumu see how deeply God cares for them. Each meal, each school uniform, each visit is a testimony of His love reaching into their lives.
🙏 Thank you for making this possible. Your support continues to bring daily bread and eternal hope to those who need it most.
