In Kitale, Kenya, steady and faithful ministry continues among children who need more than temporary help — they need stability, guidance, and a place where they are known by name. Through Project New Day of the “Our Kids in Africa” mission, around 100 children are currently receiving consistent care in a structured and nurturing environment.

Every Monday and Wednesday, the children gather for Bible lessons. These are not just classes, but spaces where faith, character, and discipline are formed gently and intentionally. On Wednesdays, the teaching is followed by craft activities. Small hands create, paint, and build — learning practical skills while discovering that creativity, too, is a gift from God.

Although the children have just entered a one-week school break, the rhythm of care does not stop. Structured activities continue. Spiritual guidance remains steady. Daily routines offer something many of these children have rarely known — consistency.

Practical care is woven into each day. The program provides daily showers and personal hygiene routines, regular cleaning of their environment, and nutritious hot meals from Monday through Friday. These simple but faithful acts restore dignity. They build health. They create belonging.

During this same season, the Embrace Center in Kitale witnessed a meaningful moment of joy. On February 16th, the children participated in a special Market Day at the center. Each child was able to choose new clothes and personal items according to individual needs. For many, it was the first time they experienced the freedom of choosing something for themselves. The atmosphere carried quiet excitement — dignity returning in small but powerful ways.

The children at Embrace also continue their weekly Superbook lessons. Through these Bible-based teachings, they grow in understanding, faith, and everyday character. Spiritual foundations are being laid carefully, one story and one conversation at a time.

Alongside these programs, ministry leaders in Kitale remain actively engaged in serving children, youth, and adults across the community. Through mentoring, worship leadership, children’s evangelism activities, translation support, and regular church outreach, they ensure that ministry reaches every generation. Young people are learning responsibility and purpose, guided with patience and consistency.

All of this continues because people choose to support this work. It is made possible through the faithful sponsorship of partners who stand with these ministries. Support from Emish Market, Paradise Village, and sponsors who give through IMOC sustains daily meals, lessons, care, and outreach.

There are no dramatic headlines here — only steady faithfulness. Children being washed and fed. Bibles being opened. Songs being sung. Clothes being chosen with quiet pride. Leaders showing up again and again.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this ministry. Your generosity creates places where children are safe, valued, and guided toward hope.
