Even in the midst of war, when explosions and sirens still echo across Ukrainian towns and villages, there is a quiet yet powerful ministry happening every single day: the ministry of bread.

Thanks to faithful support, loaves are being baked and delivered both to families in need and to Ukrainian defenders. For many, this bread is more than daily food — it is a reminder that God has not forgotten them.

“The Word of God is being sown together with every loaf of bread. The Lord counts each one we bake and bring to the people and to our defenders,” shares one of the team members.

Often, people who receive bread confess that they did not expect such care. Some break into tears, realizing that behind every loaf stands love — love of those who gave, those who baked, and ultimately God’s love that reaches hearts in the simplest form.

This bread has become more than nourishment. It is a tool God uses to open doors, to bring conversations about faith, and to comfort those who live through fear and uncertainty.

We are deeply grateful to Anatoliy Kolomiyets, the IMOCE mission, and all friends who serve together in this project. Your open hearts are felt in every village, in every home, and in every soldier’s hand that receives this bread.

May the Lord repay you abundantly for your faithfulness and compassion. Together, even in dark times, we see that the light of Christ is shining — one loaf at a time.
