When Darkness Spreads, Mercy Rises
Across Ukraine, many towns and villages now stand in silence.
The enemy continues to target power grids, substations, and gas lines, pushing whole regions into darkness again.
Yet the deeper the night becomes, the brighter the light of people who refuse to give up.
In these weeks of uncertainty, the quiet faithfulness of those who serve has become a lifeline. Friends like Anatoliy Kolomiyets, the IMOCE mission, and everyone who has joined this work carry a light that no destruction can extinguish. Their support has strengthened the ministry of daily bread for families living under the shadow of war.
From the bakery, thousands of fresh loaves leave every day for the regions that suffer the most — Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava. These loaves travel to towns and villages only a few dozen kilometers from the frontline, where people still endure the consequences of Russia’s attack on Ukraine and where the war shows no sign of ending soon.
This work continues because there are people far away who carry Ukraine in their hearts. People who choose compassion over comfort. People whose faith becomes warmth for others.
May God bless everyone who stands with this ministry of bread — those who serve on the ground and those who support from afar.
Your kindness becomes light in places where electricity has failed, hope in homes shaken by fear, and a reminder that God has not forgotten His people.
