Hello friends,

I’m so glad to be back in Kenya. I had some time in Ukraine to recharge, see my family, and get some medical care, as it can be quite expensive in Kenya.

I’ve been back here for a few weeks now, so I have a lot to share with you. I’ve returned to my main ministry work. Before my break, God revealed to me some things I wanted to change at the shelter. He showed me that the kids have many questions about God and have wounds that prevent them from being close to Him. That’s why I really want to build closer relationships with them so they can open up more.

In the photo, you can see our Bible study time and conversations. I am also training a graduate of the “Year for God” program to assist us with paperwork and inventory management in the future.

The children recently finished their second semester, and we received their overall results and exam grades. I met with the teachers who help with homework and offer extra lessons to the kids who need them during the holidays. We discussed a new holiday schedule and the subjects in which the children are struggling.

Sometimes, I even act as a nurse. Moses wasn’t feeling well, so we tested him for malaria. The initial test was negative, but three days later, a lab test confirmed that he did have malaria.

I am so grateful to IMOCE for keeping these orphaned children in your hearts, for loving them, and for blessing them. Thanks to you, we were able to buy new church clothes for the girls and 45 kg of clothes for our pre-teens who live with us. We also organized a boys’ night and a separate girls’ night.

We had a wonderful time together, discussing important topics, sharing stories of how God has worked in our lives, and remembering who has experienced His presence. It was a beautiful evening around the campfire with delicious treats.

Every Wednesday, we spend time with the team that serves the pre-teens. It’s a time for preparation and encouragement for one another. On Wednesdays, we have the opportunity to serve around 250 pre-teens. These kids need our care and attention. I thank you for helping us feed them, knowing that through this, they see and feel God’s love.

After a delicious meal, the children have a session where they receive spiritual nourishment. At one of the services, I talked about Jeremiah. He was young, and in some translations, he refers to himself as a child, but he had a strong relationship with God. At the next service, we discussed some of Jeremiah’s dialogues with God and learned practical lessons. This was done in small groups, which allowed us to see who understood the lesson and what needed to be repeated or explained better.

I was also thrilled that our pre-teens team got to go to the pool. Even though they are older, they rejoiced like children.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can continue moving forward, bringing Jesus into the darkest corners, the most difficult situations, and to the people who need Him most.

Thank you for serving with us!
May God bless you.
