Christ is born!

It’s wonderful that He came to this earth and united so many people around. From every continent, we hear “Christ is born,” “Merry Christmas,” “Joy to the world.”

My greetings fly to you from Kenya, Africa, “Mission Assistance,” and I wish everyone a wonderful holiday. This week on the mission has been very intense. Christmas is a time when there’s little free time and a lot of ministry, where you can share the story of the Savior’s birth.

We celebrated Christmas with our orphans. I prepared a musical with the team, and during the preparation for Christmas, we formed a choir of orphans. The performance was dedicated to the biblical story of Christmas.

Later, I summarized, and together we discussed what we can learn from the characters. From Mary – to believe, from Joseph – to trust, from the Shepherds – to have hope and listen to what the angels say to them, from the Wise Men – to seek the Lord, and from the angels – to worship.

I had the opportunity to make decorations with one girl from the team. We continued Advent with the children, and one of the tasks was to make gingerbread cookies and paint them.

And, of course, the last day of Advent – celebrating the Savior’s birthday. We always have a festive family dinner. Each child received gifts.

We also greeted our volunteers and, as a token of appreciation, presented them with gifts. Thank you very much for your support, and once again, I wish you a Merry Christmas.
