Hello friends from Africa!
Connecting from Kenya.
For almost 7 years, I’ve been serving on the “assistance” mission, and I’m very grateful that the IMOSE mission financially supports me, allowing me to continue serving the Lord here in Kisumu.
Christmas is approaching soon, so there will be a lot about Christmas in the reports. First of all, I want to express my sincere thanks for the financial support in the “Happy time” evangelization here in Kenya.
This time we conducted Christmas evangelization in one of the schools. Around 200 children attended. We always pray for the Holy Spirit to work in our meetings and minister through the leaders. As usual, we set up stations.
And what’s Christmas without sweet cotton candy? Due to the intense heat, the cotton candy melted quickly, but the kids still got to enjoy it. There was a station with entertainment and soap bubbles. This time, we had a really cool craft that led to a biblical lesson. The children made a star, and during the lesson, I explained that the star pointed to the place where Jesus was born. Now, the star they made can remind them that Jesus is always with them.
For the biblical story, I printed these cool posters. The children carefully examined them, helping to keep their attention on each episode of the story.
The main thing was to emphasize that it’s great to know that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, but for our salvation, we need to come to Him, confess our sins, and call Him our Lord.
With 200 children, it’s a lot, and I don’t know how many truly felt Jesus, who sincerely prayed and wanted to follow the Lord. But we believe that we are planting seeds, and God will make them grow in the right time.
Of course, what is Christmas without gifts? This time, each child received a printed story about the Savior’s birth.
Every Wednesday, we have a preteen ministry. This time, I led the ministry, and the mission guests shared the word. We also fed our children.
Advent has started at the shelter. Every day, we actively engage in Christmas-related activities. Also, I purchased gifts for the children from the shelter.
At the same time, we are preparing a performance for the ministry. Today, we created this beauty together with the children at the shelter.
Thank you very much for supporting the ministry. May God bless each one of you!
