Kenya 04/05/2024
Hello! My family and I also extend Easter greetings to everyone! We thank God for this wonderful day in our lives! We have already celebrated in Kenya, but we are ready to celebrate even more! I often lose track of time and didn’t share in time about the ministry of me and my family in Kenya!
Hallelujah, I continue to help people in the slums! We feed, clothe, rescue from violence, assist with paperwork, send to schools, heal, and nurture faith! We believe that through helping people, we can also convey God’s love and care and introduce people to Jesus, which is why we came here in the first place!
Right now, I’m trying to spend more time with the workers. We want to serve not because we have to, but out of love! We introspect and acknowledge our weaknesses! We utilize our abilities and learn to manage time and authority!
One of the workers completed the Child Sponsorship project and has already finished school! Today was his graduation! We rejoice! This guy is in church! He serves, attends discipleship groups, and now also serves in this project, helping me oversee more than 500 students!
With Steve, we take care of our elderly! Many of them have poor eyesight! So we read the Bible, pray together, and also help with food. In the slums, the elderly are not protected and do not receive pensions. They have to survive no matter what.
We also visit widows and single mothers. In short, I can’t even imagine how they survive. Sometimes you just want to shake things up and give them a dream!!! We pray that they learn to dream and change their lives with Jesus! He has wonderful plans for their lives!
Every day at 7:30 in the morning, without weekends, we have a prayer breakfast for the elderly! I thank God that a guy from my team responded and serves in the mornings with the Word and prayer! I’m truly amazed by them!!! Where does a young guy get so much love for the elderly from?!
Also, every day at 5 in the evening, we feed widows, orphans, disabled people, and the elderly dinner! As well as children who are hungry in their families. We visit, help, teach. We pass on knowledge and faith. We love people and serve! Thank you for your support for us! We thank God for your work for us!
